What is the measurement procedure with the cable tester PROFtest II?
The following operating steps must be kept: 1. Test without termination resistor, 2. Test with one bus terminating resistor, 3. Test with two bus terminating resistors. It is necessary to complete one measurement step successfully to go on to the next step. Example: The PROFtest II displays 98 ohms but no length during the test without terminating resistors. The troubleshooting must be continued until the appropriate ohm value (150 ohms ± 10%) and the length are displayed. Then the other measuring steps can be executed.
