How is the line length determined by the PROFINET-INspektor® NT?
The PN INspektor is a passive analysing tool and analyses/evaluates independently the data traffic of PROFINET networks. That's why the PROFInet-Inspektor® cannot determine line/cable lengths. Alternatively we recommend the topology scan software PROscan® Active or the line tester ETHERtest V5.
