Why is there an error message issued in PROFINET-INspektor® (e.g. Jitter > 500%) when using a PN/PB coupler with several PB devices?
PN/PB network couplers are regarded in particular concerning data evaluation. They send data to the controller on behalf of each connected PROFIBUS device with a different PROFINET ID (similar to controllers send data to devices).
Therefore it is not possible to analyze these links correctly with a PROFINET-INspektor® (no real device assignment). For that reason evaluation for these couplers need to be disabled and the analysis need to be restarted (PN-INsp.: „Delete data“). Thus the INspektor® assigns each device correctly and the analysis is error-free.
