What is this about the tin coating on conductor cables?
On the one hand, tin coating protects the conductor cables against outside influences. The more important effect is that a tin-plated conductor cable is in principle better suited for high-frequency currents: The tin coating acts as a small insulation of the copper wires. As a result it features more conductor surface. And this is an advantage for currents with high frequencies.
